Cinema for Everyone
The project named "Cinema for Everyone", which was submitted to the Ministry of Internal Affairs by the Cinema Writers Association with the approval of the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations, was first approved by the General Director of Civil Society Relations, Mr. Onay. It was accepted with the signatures of Mr. Erkan KILIÇ and the then Minister of Internal Affairs, Mr. Süleyman SOYLU.
Within the scope of the project carried out in partnership with the Ministry of Family and Social Policies and Yozgat Provincial Directorate, theoretical and practical training on short films and documentaries was given to 25 boys between the ages of 12-17 staying at Sevgi Evleri and Child Protection Agency. producing. Many academics and film critics attended the six-month training.
In the project, where 13 students from Yozgat Bozok University Radio and Television program were mentored, the participating children stayed at the Mira Da Del Mar hotel in Antalya Kemer for a week and received practical training.
In the project, 25 children shot a total of 5 short films in groups of 5. In the project where the idea, scenario, shooting and editing process was left to the children, the films in which the "family" theme came to the fore were presented to the cinema lovers at the Gala ceremony held at the end of the project.
The gala ceremony held in the large cinema hall in Yozgat city center was attended by Yozgat Governor Ziya POLAT, Yozgat Bozok University Rector Prof. Dr. Many guests, especially Ahmet KARADAĞ and cinema writer Suat KÖÇER, attended.
The gala ceremony, where the films shot within the scope of the project and the interviews conducted with children during this process were shown, ended with the presentation of a plaque.
The project was successfully completed by reporting all visual, audio and literary content related to the project and the news published within TRT and forwarding it to the General Directorate of Civil Society Relations.
